Microfone Parabólico Espião - MacGyver Vive


Hoje em mais um post da série MacGyver Vive, vamos aprender a fazer um microfone parabólico!!!! Ai você se pergunta: - Pra que diabos serve isso? Quem gosta de filmes de espionagem e de detetives, já sabe! Resumidamente ele te possibilita ter um "ouvido de tuberculoso" artificial! Ele permite que você ouça conversas a disância com perfeição. É a arma definitiva do fofoqueiro e um acessório indispensável ao detetive que se presta. Que tal então fazer o seu próprio? Um pequeno conhecimento de eletrônica é necessário para o projeto.
Os microfones direcionais ultra-sensíveis podem ser utilizados em diversas aplicações práticas interessantes. Uma delas é a espionagem, quando focalizamos pessoas conversando a uma certa distância e conseguimos ouvir tudo o que dizem. Outra é na gravação de sons da natureza e finalmente temos a possibilidade de instalar o sistema num robô para detecção de sons remotos. Veja neste artigo como é possível construir um simples microfone parabólico usando componentes comuns.
Os microfones direcionais sensíveis são montagens bastante interessantes e não muito difíceis de serem realizadas com componentes de baixo custo. O amplificador que descrevemos alimenta um fone de ouvido, é alimentado por pilhas e tem excelente sensibilidade graças ao uso de um microfone de eletreto.
Um controle especial possibilita o aumento de seu ganho nas situações em que os sons são mais fracos, facilitando assim sua audição. As aplicações práticas sugeridas são as seguintes:
- Espionagem
- Gravação de sons da natureza
- Aplicações esportivas
- Detecção de sons remotos em robôs com o uso de um transmissor

As principais características do circuito que descrevemos são:

Características:
Tensão de alimentação: 6 ou 9 V (4 ou 6 pilhas pequenas)
Ganho controlado (50x ou 200x)
Potência de saída (200 a 400 mW – conforme alimentação, e impedância de saída)
Impedância de saída: 4 a 16 ohms
Como Funciona
Existem duas técnicas básicas para se captar sons direcionalmente. Uma delas consiste no uso de um tubo para “canalizar” os sons e que é muito usada em estádios de futebol para se captar os sons dos chutes e da própria conversa dos jogadores. A segunda consiste em se posicionar o microfone no foco de um refletor parabólico e que é usada principalmente na gravação de sons de pássaros e outros sons da natureza. As duas técnicas são ilustradas na figura 1.

O nosso projeto utiliza a segunda técnica com um refletor que pode ser qualquer objeto de metal ou plástico duro de pelo menos 40 cm de diâmetro e que tenha uma curvatura que se aproxime da parabólica. Podemos usar, por exemplo, uma meia esfera de um globo de efeitos de luz com resultados satisfatórios. O ponto exato em que o microfone deve ser posicionado será obtido experimentalmente.
O sinal captado pelo microfone de eletreto é levado ao circuito através de um cabo blindado, para se evitar a captação de zumbidos. Intercalado entre o microfone e a entrada do amplificador temos o potenciômetro P1 que serve como controle de volume. O amplificador usado é um LM386 que, além de ser fácil de encontrar e barato, exige poucos externos adicionais para se obter um bom ganho, e saída de baixa impedância. O ganho deste amplificador é determinado pelo resistor R2 no circuito de realimentação negativa. Assim, com a chave numa posição, em que este resistor está no circuito, o ganho do amplificador será de 50 vezes.
Mudando de posição a chave, de modo que apenas o capacitor fique no circuito, o ganho será de 200 vezes. Os capacitores C3 e C5 fazem o desacoplamento do amplificador e da fonte respectivamente e o capacitor C4 faz o acoplamento à carga que pode ser um fone de ouvido de baixa impedância. Os tipos acolchoados são os dão melhores resultados neste tipo de aplicação por bloquearem qualquer outro tipo de som que não seja o que vem do circuito.
Montagem
Na figura 2 damos o circuito completo do microfone parabólico.

A parte eletrônica pode ser montada numa pequena placa de circuito impresso com a disposição de componentes mostrada na figura 3.

Todo o conjunto cabe numa pequena caixa plástica que tanto pode ser montada junto ao refletor como carregada à tiracolo, conforme mostra a figura 4.

Em qualquer caso é importante usar cabo blindado para a conexão do microfone, pois o amplificador é sensível podendo captar zumbidos. Na montagem observe a polaridade dos capacitores eletrolíticos e a posição do circuito integrado. Também é importante observar a polaridade do microfone de eletreto, pois se ele for invertido o aparelho não funciona.
O resistor R1 determina a polarização e ganho do transistor de efeito de campo que existe no interior dos microfones de eletreto. Eventualmente este resistor pode ser alterado para se encontrar o ponto de maior sensibilidade. Valores entre 2,7 k ohms e 10 k ohms podem ser experimentados. Para a saída do fone temos duas possibilidades mostradas na figura 5.

No primeiro caso o jaque é simples para fone monofônico. No segundo caso, se usarmos um jaque estéreo para fone de ouvido estéreo, a ligação deve ser feita com os canais em série.

Prova e Uso
Para provar o aparelho basta ligar S1, abrir P1 e verificar a captação dos sons ambientes com a chave S2 nas duas posições de modo a se comparar o ganho.
Se houver ronco no fone, verifique a blindagem do cabo do microfone e se sua malha está ligada firmemente ao ponto de terra do circuito. Comprovado o funcionamento é só usar o circuito. Para fazer gravações pode ser usada uma saída paralela que será ligada à entrada do MIC do gravador, conforme mostra a figura 6.

Esta mesma saída pode ser ligada a um pequeno transmissor de FM, como o mostrado na figura 7, para a captação dos sinais à distância.

Uma placa de circuito impresso para o transmissor é mostrada na figura 8.

Neste circuito, a bobina consta de 4 espiras de fio esmaltado 22 a 26 AWG ou mesmo fio rígido comum (do tipo usado em telefones) num lápis como referência.
Os capacitores com valores expressos em nF e pF devem ser obrigatoriamente cerâmicos. A antena consiste num pedaço de fio rígido de 20 a 40 cm ou ainda uma antena telescópica de rádio comum. O alcance pode chegar aos 50 metros em local aberto e livre de interferências. O sinal é recebido em qualquer aparelho de som com FM, preferivelmente com sintonia analógica.

C4 – 220 uF x 12 V – eletrolítico
C5 – 470 uF x 12 V – eletrolítico

Diversos:
MIC – microfone de eletreto de dois terminais
S1 – Interruptor simples
S2 – Chave de 1 pólo x 2 posições
J1 – jaque conforme o fone – ver texto
B1 – 6 ou 9 V – 4 ou 6 pilhas pequenas

Placa de circuito impresso, suporte de pilhas, fios, cabo blindado, refletor parabólico, caixa para montagem, botão para o potenciômetro, solda, etc.

b)Transmissor

Semicondutores:
Q1 – BF494 – transistor de RF

Resistores: (1/8 W, 5%)
R1 – 10 k ohms – marrom, preto, laranja
R2 – 6,8 k ohms – azul, cinza, vermelho
R3 – 47 ohms – amarelo, violeta, preto

C1 – 10 nF – cerâmico
C2 – 4,7 nF – cerâmico
C3 – 4,7 pF – cerâmico
C4 – 100 nF – cerâmico
CV – trimmer (qualquer valor entre 20 e 40 pF de capacitância máxima)

Diversos:
L1 – Bobina – ver texto
B1 – 4 ou 6 pilhas – pode ser usada a alimentação do microfone
A - antena – ver texto
